Maths Tutors Wanted — Online & In-Person | Aba Does Maths (Inspiration Academy)

📍 Various locations / remote | Competitive rates | Zero-hours contract | Flexible hours

Inspiration Academy Ltd — the team behind Aba Does Maths, reaching 200,000+ students and educators every month — is growing its tutor network.

We're looking for passionate, reliable maths tutors to deliver high-quality tuition to learners across GCSE, Functional Skills, and Foundation-to-Higher tier maths. Whether you're a qualified teacher or a confident, subject-strong tutor without formal qualifications, if you can explain maths clearly and get students engaged, we want to hear from you.

What you'll be doing

  • Delivering 1:1 or small-group maths tuition, online and/or in person
  • Supporting students working towards GCSE resits, Functional Skills, or general maths confidence
  • Planning sessions using our resources and materials (or your own, aligned to exam boards)
  • Tracking student progress and flagging concerns where needed
  • Representing the Aba Does Maths brand with energy, patience, and professionalism

Who we're looking for

Qualified tutors:

  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification, and/or a degree in Maths or a related field
  • Experience teaching GCSE or Functional Skills maths
  • Confidence teaching Foundation and/or Higher tier

Unqualified tutors welcome too, if you have:

  • Strong personal grasp of GCSE-level maths (grade 7+/A or equivalent)
  • Experience mentoring, coaching, or informally tutoring young people
  • A genuine passion for helping students who've struggled with maths build confidence
