Key Responsibilities

  • Provide quality support in Packing Hall, Blending, and Logistics areas.
  • Administer various aspects of Quality Management Systems, including managing non-conformances & CAPAs, audit management, document control, risk management, supplier management, and handling customer complaints.
  • Assist in managing the site's audit process, including conducting site inspections and supporting internal audits conducted by the Quality Team.
  • Support the Quality Team in project work and continuously seek ways to improve our Food Safety Systems and QMS elements, such as Good Manufacturing Practices, Hygiene Practices, and Documentation Practices.
  • Manage the Retain Samples process and oversee the physical area dedicated to this purpose.
  • Promote and uphold Quality Standards throughout the site.
  • Assist in updating site procedures and ensuring their effective implementation.
  • Provide administrative support to the Quality Team, including organising meetings, maintaining records, and managing correspondence.
  • Assist in developing and implementing team training plans to ensure continuous improvement and compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Undertake other quality assurance tasks as assigned by the department manager.
  • Adherence with all Company Occupational Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures. Ensuring full co-operation in all aspects of HSE.
  • Positive attitude towards any failings or weaknesses within site systems or procedures, identified by employee or brought to employee’s attention.
  • Operating within financial targets for Andover Supply Centre.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with main Stakeholders in support of manufacturing and supply centre operations.
  • Providing back-up support to the Quality Coach and Quality Coordinator and general Quality & Compliance team objectives.
  • Providing accurate and timely information, analysis and recommendations for current and future Business review cycles.
  • Providing system support for the management of skills and personnel development as required.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

  • Experience in providing support to teams and stakeholders in a professional setting.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to work, with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement in the field of quality management and compliance. Basic understanding of compliance principles.
  • Intermediate to Advanced MS office systems.
  • Ability to compile a letter/email to Internal and External stakeholders.
  • GCSE (or equivalent) in Science or Maths.
  • Ability to interact with other teams on site.
  • Positive engagement with a multidisciplinary team and different stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and capable delivering results in line with the business needs.
  • Attention to details, conscientious and reliable.
  • High energy level and strong self-motivated and initiative skills including the proven ability to prioritise objectives and duties.
  • Strong written and verbal communication ability to present detailed information to all levels Look for opportunities to improve organisational effectiveness.
