Base Location: Aberdeen, Perth, Inverness, Glasgow
Salary: £44,000 - £65,900 + car / car allowance + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.
Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available
It is an essential requirement for this role that you have a full, current driving licence.
The Role
A new and exciting opportunity has arisen within Large Capital Project Services for a Quality Advisor. This opportunity will offer the right candidate an excellent new challenge and development opportunity.
You Will Be
- Ensuring that all projects within the business unit operate in accordance with SSE's systems and project processes, including the Large Capital Project Services Governance Framework.
- Supporting the development, management and improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) and establishing systems and procedures which ensure consistent project development and delivery to the required standards.
- Assessing the product specifications and project requirements while ensuring compliance with national and international standards.
- Defining processes and procedures in conjunction with project staff and bringing together staff of different disciplines and driving the group to formulate and agree comprehensive business procedures.
- Providing support and expertise in quality assurance within development and delivery of projects.
You Will Have
- A Chartered Quality Professional - Member (CQP MCQI) is highly desirable.
- A current Lead Auditor qualification in ISO 9001 and demonstrate experience of conducting audits both internally and upon the supply chain.
- You should have an understanding of SSE's Transmission business and a good knowledge of construction and engineering activities.
- Knowledge to implement and effectively use company standard management systems.
- Ability to demonstrate effective leadership in the execution of quality management activities with the department and be able to develop and maintain meaningful relationships with departmental management and project teams.
- It is an essential requirement for this role that you have a full, current driving licence, and be able to travel if required.
