We are looking for a motivated and ambitious Quality Advisor to join our team, supporting the delivery of a major energy infrastructure project. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of quality are achieved throughout the entire project lifecycle, from planning and delivery through to final handover.
Working as part of the SHEQ function, you will collaborate with project teams to promote a culture of continuous improvement, ensure compliance with quality requirements, and support the successful delivery of works. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a long-term programme of work within the growing energy sector while developing your professional expertise within a leading infrastructure business.
Role Responsibilities
- Support the implementation and maintenance of project quality management systems and processes.
- Ensure all project activities are delivered in accordance with company, client, and industry quality requirements.
- Conduct quality audits, inspections, and reviews across project activities.
- Monitor compliance with quality management plans and provide guidance to project teams.
- Identify, record, investigate, and report non-conformances, supporting corrective and preventive actions.
- Assist with the preparation, review, and maintenance of quality documentation and records.
- Support project teams in understanding and applying quality standards and best practices.
- Monitor and report quality performance metrics, trends, and improvement opportunities.
- Participate in quality assurance activities throughout the project lifecycle, including final handover.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence across the project.
- Collaborate with operational teams, clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders to achieve quality objectives.
- Support lessons learned activities and the sharing of best practice across projects.

Skills, Experience And Qualifications
- Experience in a Quality Advisor role or a similar quality-focused position within construction, engineering, infrastructure, or a related industry.
- Industry experience is essential.
- HND, Degree Apprenticeship, or a relevant qualification in an engineering, construction, or quality-related discipline.
- Knowledge of quality management systems, processes, and assurance principles.
- Experience supporting audits, inspections, and compliance activities.
- Familiarity with project delivery processes, systems, and digital tools.
- Strong diligence with the ability to identify risks, trends, and areas for improvement.
- Excellent organisational and record-keeping skills.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to analyse information, solve problems, and implement effective solutions.
- Initiative-taking approach to continuous improvement and quality performance.
- Commitment to maintaining exacting standards of quality, safety, and compliance.

About The Energy Business Unit
We have extensive experience in upgrading and replacing energy networks, delivering asset management for major UK energy companies and network operators.
Our transmission and distribution services involve the upgrading and replacement of electricity assets both above and below ground. Within the electricity sector we install and maintain assets, including excavation, laying, and jointing of cables, (fluid filled and XLPe), substations and overhead line, new build, repair, and refurbishment services.
