About The Role
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented CAD Data Quality Analyst to join the Virtual Build and Test Operations team within the Vehicle Architecture Vehicle Engineering (VAVE) department. This role is pivotal in supporting the transition of vehicle products from virtual models to physical prototypes, ensuring data integrity and quality throughout the development process. The successful candidate will play a key role in inspecting and validating CAD data, identifying potential quality issues early, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve them efficiently. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge automotive projects, leveraging advanced virtual validation tools and processes. The role is based in Warwickshire with a hybrid working potential, offering flexibility and a dynamic work environment. The initial contract duration is nine months, with the possibility of renewal based on performance and project needs. This role is inside IR35, providing a chance to work within a structured contractual framework while contributing to innovative vehicle development initiatives.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background with proficiency in PLM and CAD tools, including Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE (PLM), CATIA V5 (CAD), and Siemens Teamcenter (PLM). A solid understanding of automotive architectures, systems, or commodities is essential, with the ability to apply this knowledge effectively in engineering or design environments. Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication skills, capable of simplifying complex technical information for diverse audiences. Attention to detail, a methodical approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work independently are critical. A process-oriented mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement are highly valued. Proven experience in CAD quality checking, digital mockup reviews, or virtual validation will be considered advantageous. Educational qualifications relevant to automotive engineering, design, or computer-aided engineering are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conducting detailed inspections of CAD geometry to identify potential quality issues early in the development cycle.
- Ensuring these issues are clearly understood by engineering teams and documented in a concise, actionable manner.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, presenting findings during CAD reviews and supporting issue resolution efforts.
- Driving improvements in CAD data compatibility and quality to support the delivery of high-quality vehicles.
- Contributing to the continuous enhancement of virtual validation processes and tools, working closely with engineers on future vehicle programmes.
- Maintaining high standards of data quality and supporting process improvements to streamline workflows.
