Your Career
As a Quality Analyst, you will join MHR’s innovative Test Engineering team, supporting the design and delivery of software testing for our market-leading HR and Payroll solution. Working in an agile development environment, you will have the opportunity to develop your testing expertise rapidly while contributing to a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, TDD, BDD, and self-development.
You will bring a strong understanding of manual software testing, with hands-on experience in UI and/or API testing and a good working knowledge of databases. You will apply core testing practices including test strategy, planning, analysis, estimation, defect management, and reporting, helping the team make informed decisions throughout the development lifecycle.

Your Team
This role sits within the People First Talent domain, where you will lead on identifying and coordinating the appropriate test activities for the team. You will work closely with development engineers and automation engineers to ensure the product is built with low risk and high quality from the outset.
You will collaborate with colleagues to identify repeatable testing activity and support its delivery through automation. You will contribute to agile ceremonies and promote preventative testing techniques, ensuring quality is considered throughout development rather than only at the point of release.
Your Impact
You will help ensure that every release of the HR and Payroll solution is reliable, robust, and fit for purpose. Through thoughtful test planning, effective analysis, clear defect management, and accurate reporting, you will provide the insight needed to manage risk and protect the customer experience.
You will have the opportunity to broaden your experience across cross-browser and device testing, web testing, RESTful web services, TDD, BDD, and automated testing practices. Knowledge of HR and Payroll legislation and concepts, testing tools and services, and strong communication and presentation skills will help you make an even greater contribution.
