We are pleased to introduce a new role to strengthen safeguarding assurance and risk management across the Enfield community and working across care groups and the wider Trust.
This role is ideally suited to an experienced safeguarding professional with strong analytical skills, the ability to interpret and present complex data, and excellent leadership and communication abilities. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring safeguarding remains a core priority across the organisation.
Role Overview
The Quality and Assurance Senior Advisor will provide Trust-wide leadership in quality assurance, with a key focus on overseeing Persons in a Position of Trust (PIPOT) cases from initial triage through to closure. The post-holder will ensure robust processes are in place to manage allegations effectively, consistently, and in line with statutory guidance. The role will lead on delivering comprehensive audit and assurance programmes, supporting compliance monitoring, and providing oversight of safeguarding risks. Key areas of responsibility include sexual safety, chaperoning practices, and safeguarding standards, ensuring high-quality care and protection for service users. Working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners, the post-holder will strengthen governance, promote a culture of accountability, and drive continuous improvement across safeguarding practice.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
