We are Cambridge University Press & Assessment, a world-leading academic publisher and assessment organisation and a proud part of the University of Cambridge.
We are looking for an organised and collaborative Quality and Compliance Coordinator to help deliver our global audit programme for Cambridge English exams and tests. This is an opportunity to combine coordination, customer support and quality assurance while working with colleagues, customers and auditors across an international network.
About The Role
Working within Assessment Operations and reporting to the Quality and Compliance Manager, you will help ensure that audits take place in the right locations at the right time. You will coordinate audit activity, review reports, support action planning and provide guidance on relevant regulations and procedures.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Planning centre audits and Exam Day Compliance Assessments across our global network.
- Reviewing audit reports, confirming ratings and preparing appropriate action plans.
- Interpreting regulations and providing clear guidance to customers and colleagues.
- Supporting and training external auditors and audit coordinators.
- Coordinating audit-related travel administration while helping to identify and manage potential travel risks.
- Maintaining customer documentation and internal work instructions.
- Responding to internal and external enquiries and processing expenses and claim forms.
- Contributing to the development and testing of new systems, processes and services.
- Undertaking some audit activity, which will involve occasional business travel.
This position has been classified as a hybrid role, requiring the selected candidate to typically spend 40-60% of their time collaborating and connecting face-to-face at their dedicated location. Aside from our hybrid principles, other flexible working requests will be considered from the first day of employment, including other work arrangements should you require adjustments due to a disability or long-term health condition.
About You
You will have experience providing administrative support within a busy, fast-paced environment. Comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines, you are highly organised, proactive and able to maintain accuracy while working under pressure.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
