Quality and Compliance Manager

Are you experienced in administering electronic Quality Management Systems? Are you passionate about Quality and Compliance, and have great attention to detail? Do you have knowledge of GCP Life Sciences?

If so, ZigZagQA is recruiting a Quality and Compliance Manager to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. There is also the opportunity for this role to be part-time (4 days per week) for the right candidate.

As the Quality and Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the QA strategy, ensuring the highest quality standards across the organization. The role involves managing QA processes and collaborating with functional teams to integrate quality assurance throughout the organization. You will drive continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices to achieve service excellence.

What you will do

  • Own the QMS
  • Manage documentation control
  • Quality Management Group (QMG) meetings
  • Monitor CAPAs, deviations, and change controls
  • Maintain inspection readiness
  • Manage quality issues through to resolution
  • Track and report regulatory updates
  • Support with audits
  • Train managers on compliance requirements
  • Be very system savvy – with the ability to manage and take ownership of projects
  • Work with employees, the QMG, and Leadership team to ensure the achievement of training objectives to increase capability
  • Conduct performance oversight visits of auditing personnel as needed
  • Collaborate with the People Services Group and line managers to ensure effective and appropriate training and onboarding of employees and consultants
  • Supporting with client questionnaires (RFP)

About you

  • Previous experience within Compliance and/or Training
  • GCP life sciences knowledge
  • Strong GxP knowledge (GCP, GMP, GLP as relevant)
  • Experience administering electronic Quality Management Systems
  • Excellent process discipline and fantastic attention to detail
  • Ability to challenge senior stakeholders and ensure tight timeline and process ownership
