Quality and Configuration Assurance Engineer

Expleo is seeking a Quality and Configuration Assurance Engineer to support a major DAL D to DAL A software assurance uplift programme. The role is responsible for maintaining the integrity, auditability, and configuration control of all programme artefacts, ensuring evidence is complete, traceable, reviewable, and suitable for formal customer acceptance.

Working across requirements, design, implementation, verification, and certification workstreams, the successful candidate will manage evidence baselines, review records, action tracking, configuration status accounting, and assurance documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

This role provides the governance backbone of the programme, ensuring that every requirement, review, test result, and compliance artefact can be traced to an approved baseline and recovered during customer audit or certification review activities.

This role is based full-time on-site, working directly alongside customer engineering and assurance teams throughout programme execution.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain configuration control of programme artefacts, baselines, and evidence packages.
  • Support software, requirements, and verification configuration management activities.
  • Manage review records, approval evidence, and formal checklist documentation.
  • Control evidence repositories and baseline releases.
  • Maintain programme action, issue, and compliance logs.
  • Support Bitbucket repository governance and baseline management activities.
  • Ensure artefacts are correctly version-controlled and traceable.
  • Support preparation of compliance matrices and certification evidence packs.
  • Monitor adherence to programme QA, CM, and assurance processes.
  • Conduct quality checks on project artefacts prior to formal reviews and releases.
  • Support configuration audits and status accounting activities.
  • Prepare evidence packages for customer reviews and milestone submissions.
  • Work closely with Certification, Verification, and Project Delivery Leads to ensure evidence completeness and audit readiness.
  • Assist with formal project handover and final evidence-pack compilation activities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
