Inspection Supervisor
We are currently recruiting for an Inspection Supervisor to join a well-established and growing manufacturing business based in Aldershot. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity offering a competitive salary. This is a temporary to permanent position.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced quality professional looking to take the next step into a supervisory position. You'll play a key role in protecting product quality, leading inspection activities across production, supporting ISO 9001 compliance, and supervising a small inspection team.
This is a hands-on position where you'll spend time on the production floor carrying out inspections whilst coaching and supporting colleagues. If you enjoy solving problems, maintaining high standards and driving continuous improvement, this could be the perfect opportunity.

Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out scheduled and ad-hoc quality inspections throughout production
- Inspecting products against approved samples, artwork and production standards
- Identifying quality issues and implementing containment procedures
- Recording inspection findings and maintaining accurate quality documentation
- Supervising and supporting the Goods In Inspector and First Sign-Off Inspector
- Coaching and developing members of the inspection team
- Supporting ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 audits and maintaining audit readiness
- Managing inspection records, controlled documents and quality procedures
- Monitoring supplier quality and supporting corrective actions
- Reviewing customer returns and quality investigations
- Working closely with Production, Warehouse and Customer Service teams
- Driving continuous improvement across quality processes
- Supporting recruitment, training and competency assessments within the inspection team

Requirements
- Previous experience within Quality Control, Inspection or Manufacturing
- Experience supervising or leading a small operational or quality team
- Strong understanding of quality inspection processes
- Experience working within ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Confident making evidence-based quality decisions
- Computer literate with experience using spreadsheets and electronic quality records
Desirable Requirements
- Experience within print, promotional merchandise or manufacturing
- Experience with NCRs, SCARs and supplier corrective actions
- Internal auditing experience
- Knowledge of AQL sampling
- Experience working with Pantone colour standards or print quality inspection
- Previous involvement in recruitment, training or staff development
