Quality and Performance Monitoring Officer

About The Role

You will:

• Conduct quality monitoring visits across a range of adult social care services.
• Engage directly with people receiving care, their families and carers to understand their experiences.
• Analyse information from visits, to identify themes and areas for improvement.
• Support the investigation and escalation of provider concerns where quality or safety issues are identified.
• Work alongside colleagues, health partners and providers to promote continuous improvement.
• Contribute to reports, quality assurance activity and contract monitoring processes.
• Help ensure providers meet Care Act, CQC and Council quality standards.

This is a varied role that combines community-based work, relationship management, quality assurance and analytical skills.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience of working with older people, vulnerable adults or within health and social care services.
• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills and can build positive relationships with a wide range of people.
• Is confident gathering information, conducting visits and producing clear written reports.
• Can analyse information and identify potential risks, concerns or emerging trends.
• Has good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Understands the importance of safeguarding, confidentiality and person-centred practice.
• Has knowledge of the Care Act 2014 and the standards expected of regulated care services.
• Is organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities effectively.
