With deep expertise in organic production and clean-label manufacturing, we support brands and retailers operating in a fast-moving health and wellness market.
Role Description
This full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Exeter area supports both quality assurance and technical operations within a dynamic food manufacturing environment. You’ll play a key part in maintaining compliance, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring our products meet the highest standards. Key Responsibilities include:
- Managing and implementing updates to operational process documents, ensuring changes are accurate, controlled, and clearly communicated.
- Coordinating and tracking food safety and quality training to keep teams compliant and informed.
- Logging customer complaints and internal deviations with accuracy and timeliness.
- Delivering weekly complaint reports to the wider team and supporting investigations and action planning.
- Following up on corrective actions and verifying their effectiveness in subsequent production runs.
- Trending food safety and quality metrics for quarterly reviews to highlight risks, improvements, and opportunities.
- Participating in HACCP meetings and ensuring minutes are recorded and maintained.
- Preparing rework instructions and overseeing completion to ensure compliance with defined requirements.
- Providing cover for the Technical Manager or product release responsibilities when required.

- Solid understanding of food safety and quality systems. Demonstrable HACCP knowledge is required.
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Confidence working cross-functionally and communicating clearly at all levels.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to follow through and drive improvement.
- Experience in food manufacturing or a technical environment is beneficial.
