We have an exciting opportunity to join our Quality team as a QA Associate, Calibration, supporting our wider quality team in ensuring compliance to site and divisional policies and procedures. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Main Responsibilities

  • Process calibration requests and coordinate calibration activities to ensure equipment remains compliant and available for use.
  • Perform calibrations, scheduling and performing internal and external calibration requirements to the correct standard, accuracy, and frequency.
  • Oversee calibration records ensuring these are maintained and accurate.
  • Manage equipment inventory and asset records, ensuring information is accurate, up to date, and aligned with site requirements.
  • Support system activities (Maximo), including asset creation, and schedules.
  • Process calibration requests and coordinate calibration activities, including arranging offsite calibrations, shipping assets to external service providers, and ensuring their timely return.
  • Raise purchase orders for calibration and maintenance services and support the administration of external vendor activities.

What We're Looking For

  • To be successful, you will have a minimum of secondary level education (to include English and Maths), and ideally bring experience in a similar role, or quality based environment.
  • Preference is given to those with prior calibration experience, ideally from a Laboratory environment.
  • Good IT skills are required for this role along with strong written and oral skills to help generate clear and legible documentation and understand technical information.
  • Some of your work will involve cross-functional teams, so you’ll also need the communication and inter-personal skills to be able to build relationships with colleagues in various departments across the business.
