Quality Assurance Analyst, Financial Crime

Location: Glasgow
Rate: Up to £450 per day, Inside IR35
Level: AVP
Sector: Banking / Financial Services
Engagement: Contract, Right-to-Hire

The Opportunity

We are looking for experienced AVP Quality Assurance Analysts to join a major Financial Crime programme with a leading UK banking organisation.
The role will focus on independently assessing operational quality, process effectiveness, controls and regulatory compliance across Financial Crime activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute independent Quality Assurance reviews.
  • Assess the effectiveness of Financial Crime processes and controls.
  • Review adherence to internal policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify systemic quality issues, trends and control weaknesses.
  • Analyse QA results to identify areas requiring remediation or improvement.
  • Produce clear management information and reporting.
  • Support continuous improvement across operational processes.
  • Provide recommendations relating to controls and quality.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders across Financial Crime, Risk and Compliance.

Experience Required

  • 5+ years' relevant experience within Banking or Financial Services.
  • Strong hands-on Quality Assurance experience.
  • Experience within Financial Crime, AML, KYC, Compliance, Risk or Audit.
  • Strong understanding of Quality Assurance methodologies and control frameworks.
  • Experience identifying trends and systemic quality issues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to produce high-quality management reporting and MI.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
