Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

The Role

As QA Analyst, you will own the quality of what we ship. You will plan and run testing across Flexigrant, from exploratory, functional and regression testing through to building automated tests, working closely with our developers and Product Manager to catch issues early.

This is a hands-on role for a fast learner who enjoys getting to know a complex product in depth. Much of that product knowledge is built on the job, alongside the development team, so a real appetite to learn is essential.

It is also an AI-native role. You will use AI tools such as Claude or GitHub Copilot every day to plan, create and maintain tests, grow our automation and help build quality in as Flexigrant modernises. AI fluency will be explored at interview, so be ready to show how you work.

We are remote-first: you will work with colleagues across locations and are trusted to work wherever you are based.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, design and run manual testing across Flexigrant, including exploratory, functional, regression and edge-case testing.
  • Build and maintain automated tests and help grow our automated test coverage.
  • Work with developers and the Product Manager to refine requirements and turn them into clear, testable acceptance criteria.
  • Reproduce and document issues clearly, giving developers concise, actionable feedback so they can resolve them quickly.
  • Carry out API testing and use SQL to validate data and investigate issues.
  • Support releases each sprint, balancing planned testing with reactive support, and take part in refinement, sprint planning, stand-ups and retrospectives.
  • Use AI tooling as a core part of your daily workflow to improve testing processes and speed up delivery.
  • Share product knowledge across the team and help improve our QA processes and practices.
