QA Test Analyst – Contract (Inside IR35)
We're looking for a QA Test Analyst to join a fast-moving public sector programme working on next-generation data and AI-driven reporting solutions.
This is a hands-on role - we need a doer, not a QA lead. You'll be embedded across two closely linked workstreams, giving you visibility across the full data and insights lifecycle.
What you'll be doing:
- Writing test scripts in line with acceptance criteria ahead of development work
- Coordinating between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating feedback in both directions
- Ensuring quality is built in from the start - not just tested at the end
- Gathering and maintaining traceable evidence across testing activity
- Supporting user documentation, screen captures, and user guide creation
- Helping collate testing artefacts and evidence into the team's backlog

What we're looking for:
- Solid QA/test analyst experience (regulatory background is a plus, not essential)
- Comfortable working with ambiguity - this is an evolving environment, using emerging AI tooling and new infrastructure approaches
- A background of manual testing, ideally with some exposure to the move toward automation (strict automation experience not required at this stage)
- Strong communication skills - able to work across small, close-knit squads and liaise with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Adaptable and comfortable with a "prove it, then scale it" way of working

Contract details:
- Inside IR35
- Immediate start preferred
- Small, collaborative squad environment
- Hybrid working - 2 days a week in London office.
