Role Description
This is a full-time Quality Assurance Analyst role with Automation experience based in Edinburgh, structured as a hybrid position with a mix of on-site and work-from-home days. The Quality Assurance Analyst will design, document, and execute manual test cases to ensure that software solutions meet defined requirements and quality standards.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Reviewing functional specifications
- Identifying test scenarios
- Logging and tracking defects
- Collaborating closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers

The successful candidate will help maintain high levels of reliability, usability, and performance across client-facing applications and internal systems.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Quality Assurance and Quality Control practices, with experience applying structured QA methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with Manual & Automation Testing and writing, maintaining, and executing detailed Test Cases.
- Excellent Analytical Skills, including the ability to interpret requirements, identify edge cases, and diagnose issues.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools and test management platforms.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for documenting results and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, managing time and priorities across on-site and remote work.
- Experience in software development lifecycles (e.g., Agile, Scrum, or Kanban) is preferred.
- ISTQB or similar QA certification is an advantage.
