Quality Assurance Associate

Glasgow

About the Role

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Associate to support the delivery of high-quality customer due diligence and enhanced due diligence reviews. This role is responsible for conducting independent quality assessments of completed client files, ensuring they meet regulatory expectations, internal policies, and operational standards before final approval.

The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening quality controls, identifying areas for improvement, and supporting the delivery of a robust financial crime compliance framework.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct quality reviews of completed due diligence files, including higher-risk customers, politically exposed persons (PEPs), complex ownership structures, and individuals or entities subject to adverse media or sanctions considerations.
  • Assess the quality and completeness of customer risk assessments, source of wealth/source of funds evidence, beneficial ownership verification, and overall case rationale.
  • Review screening outcomes and ensure decisions, escalations, and risk-related findings are appropriately documented and supported.
  • Capture and report quality review outcomes, categorising findings according to materiality and risk impact.
  • Provide constructive feedback and coaching to case analysts, supporting improvements in accuracy and consistency.
  • Monitor recurring themes and error trends, contributing to process enhancements, guidance updates, and training initiatives.
  • Produce quality assurance reporting and management information, highlighting key metrics, trends, and areas of focus.
  • Maintain awareness of evolving AML and financial crime regulatory requirements and ensure these are reflected within quality review standards.
  • Assist with internal reviews, audits, regulatory enquiries, and assurance activities where required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
