Queensland Bakery Co. is a long-established bakery manufacturer supplying sweet baked treats to Healthcare, Travel, and Out of Home markets.
Role Description
The Quality Assurance Auditor is a full-time, on-site role based in Andover. This role is responsible for planning and conducting internal quality audits across production lines, ensuring compliance with company standards, food safety regulations, and customer requirements.
Day-to-Day Tasks
- Reviewing documentation
- Inspecting processes and finished products
- Identifying non-conformances
- Following up on corrective and preventive actions

The auditor will collaborate closely with production, quality control, and management teams to improve systems, update procedures, and support continuous improvement initiatives. The role also involves:

- Maintaining accurate audit records
- Preparing reports
- Contributing to training and awareness on quality and compliance
Qualifications
- Skills in Quality Auditing and Auditing, including planning, executing, and reporting on internal audits.
- Skills in Quality Control and Quality Assurance to monitor product standards and ensure consistent compliance.
- Skills in Quality Management, including familiarity with quality systems, policies, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience in food manufacturing, food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, BRC or equivalent), and regulatory compliance is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to interpret technical and regulatory documentation are required.
- Effective communication skills, ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, and confidence to challenge and influence where necessary are important.
