Role Description
The Quality Assurance Auditor / Quality Improvement Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in Birmingham. This role is responsible for planning and conducting regular quality audits across care services, reviewing documentation, and ensuring compliance with internal policies, regulatory standards, and best practices.

- Analyzing audit findings
- Identifying areas for improvement
- Developing action plans in collaboration with care teams and management
- Monitoring quality indicators
- Preparing clear reports
- Providing feedback and guidance to staff
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives that enhance outcomes for children and young people
The successful candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to embed quality standards, promote a culture of safety, and drive consistent, high-quality care.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Quality Auditing and Auditing, including planning, execution, and reporting of internal reviews.
- Skills in Quality Assurance and Quality Control, ensuring services meet regulatory requirements and internal standards.
- Skills in Quality Management, including developing improvement plans, tracking outcomes, and supporting continuous quality initiatives.
- Experience in health or social care settings, particularly with children and young people with Autism Spectrum Disorders, is highly beneficial.
- Relevant professional qualification or degree in quality management, health and social care, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and report-writing skills, with attention to detail and the ability to interpret regulations and guidelines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide constructive feedback and work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated commitment to safeguarding, person-centered care, and ethical practice.
