About the Role

We're looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer to take ownership of testing strategy, quality assurance, and release readiness across a portfolio of enterprise applications. This is an opportunity to influence how technology is delivered, working closely with both internal stakeholders and external delivery partners to ensure solutions are reliable, secure, and fit for purpose.

Client Details

Our client is a large, social housing organisation undergoing an ambitious digital transformation programme. With a significant investment in technology, data, and customer-facing services, they are modernising their platforms, applications, and integration landscape to deliver better outcomes for the communities they serve.

They offer a collaborative culture where innovation, quality, and continuous improvement are genuinely valued.

Description

  • Develop and maintain test strategies, plans, and quality assurance frameworks across multiple projects and releases.
  • Lead and oversee testing activities delivered by third-party suppliers and implementation partners.
  • Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), implementation rehearsals, and go-live readiness activities.
  • Review and approve supplier test documentation, scripts, plans, and results.
  • Define release quality criteria and provide recommendations on deployment readiness.
  • Drive automation opportunities and encourage adoption of testing best practice.
  • Manage defects through to resolution, working closely with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Produce clear reporting on testing progress, risks, issues, and outcomes.
  • Champion continuous improvement across QA processes, tooling, and governance.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
