Job Title: Quality Assurance Automation Engineer
Location: Leeds, UK (Hybrid 2 days/Week)
Experience: 8+ Years

We at Coforge are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Automation Tester with strong expertise in WebdriverIO, TypeScript, and JavaScript to lead end-to-end testing activities for a large-scale Transformation program.
Job Summary
The ideal candidate will have experience in UI, API, and end-to-end testing within Agile environments and be passionate about improving software quality through automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using WebdriverIO.
- Create and execute automated test scripts using TypeScript and JavaScript.
- Automate UI, API, regression, smoke, and end-to-end test scenarios.
- Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements and define test strategies.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams for resolution.
- Maintain test data, test environments, and automation documentation.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Continuously improve test coverage, framework design, and automation processes.

Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with WebdriverIO.
- Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript.
- Experience with test frameworks such as Mocha, Jasmine, or Cucumber.
- Experience in API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with Git version control.
- Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Exposure to performance and security testing.
- Experience working in Banking, Financial Services, or Enterprise environments.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
