Job Title: Automation Test Engineer
Location: Telford, UK
Work Mode: Hybrid (2 days weekly from office)
Mandatory Skills: Automation testing
We at Coforge are looking for an Automation Test Engineer in Telford, UK.
Role Overview
- ISTQB/ISEB certified with strong expertise in automation testing.
- Experience working in the Public Sector is preferred.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with SAP, Pega, and Data Warehouse technologies is preferred.
Core Testing Expertise
- Functional Testing: System Testing, SIT, GUI Testing, UAT, Exploratory Testing, and Compatibility Testing.
- Strong experience in:
- Test design, execution, and defect management
- Requirements analysis and stakeholder collaboration
- Defect triage and reporting

Automation & Technical Skills
- Automation tools: Selenium, Playwright, and Cucumber (BDD)
- API Testing: SOAP UI, Postman, and JMeter
- CI/CD and DevOps tools: Jenkins, Git, and GitLab
- Working knowledge of:
- Java
- SQL
- XML
- JSON
- AWS cloud environments
Test Management & Tools
- Tools: JIRA, Xray, Zephyr, Azure DevOps (ADO), Excel, and Confluence
- Strong experience in:
- Test planning and strategy
- Writing test cases and test scenarios
- Reporting and documentation

Certifications
- ISEB / ISTQB Certified Tester
- Agile Testing Certifications preferred.
