Role Title: Test Automation Engineer
Location: Northampton 2-3 WFO
Duration: 31/03/2027
Rate: £ 268 per day (PAYE through FCSA Umbrella)
Role Description:
- Strong Core Java Fundamentals
- Excellent command over Collections, Exception Handling, OOP concepts
- Ability to write, optimize, and explain Java programs
- Should demonstrate logic building and complexity understanding
- Outdated or theoretical Java experience will be rejected

UI Automation – Daily Hands On
- Strong experience in Selenium (Java)
- Must be able to form XPath / locators independently (this is tested)
- Hands on experience with UI automation frameworks
- Playwright experience is highly desirable

API Automation
- Hands on API automation using REST Assured
- Ability to automate, validate, and integrate API tests into frameworks

- Automation Framework Architecture
- Must have designed or implemented UI/API automation frameworks
- Should clearly explain:
- Framework structure
- Execution strategy
- CI/CD integration
