Quality Coordinator

£40,000 to £45,000 DOE Monday to Friday, days only

We are working with a regulated manufacturing business to recruit a Quality Coordinator into a role that sits between shop floor inspection and Quality Engineering. The position will support product and process conformance, ensuring manufactured components meet both internal quality standards and final customer requirements before release.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support final product and documentation checks against customer requirements
  • Review conformance records, inspection results, and supporting quality documentation
  • Act as a bridge between shop floor inspection teams and Quality Engineering
  • Support investigation and resolution of quality issues and non-conformances
  • Ensure inspection and verification activities are completed to the required standard
  • Work closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve issues
  • Support final release and customer-specific quality requirements
  • Maintain accurate quality records and contribute to continuous improvement activity
  • Assist with root cause investigations and corrective actions where required

About You:

  • Previous quality experience within aerospace, automotive, or another regulated manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of operational inspection and product conformance
  • Background in dimensional inspection, CMM, NDT, or similar inspection disciplines would be highly advantageous
  • Comfortable reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and quality documentation
  • Able to communicate effectively between shop floor teams and engineering functions
  • Detail-focused with a strong understanding of customer and regulatory quality requirements

This role would suit an experienced Inspector, Quality Technician, or Quality Coordinator looking to move closer to Quality Engineering, while retaining a strong connection to shop floor quality. The position is Monday to Friday, days only, with a salary of £40,000 to £45,000 depending on experience.
