I'm currently looking for an experienced Data Test Engineer / Data QA Engineer to join an exciting consultancy project with TechShack, working with a major UK insurance organisation.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of Python, test automation and data engineering, helping build and test modern cloud-native data platforms.

What we're looking for
You should have strong experience across:
- Python
- PyTest / automated testing
- SQL
- ETL / data pipeline testing
- Data validation & data quality
- Automated test framework development
- CI/CD environments
- AWS and/or GCP
- GitHub Actions, AWS Pipelines or similar
We're particularly interested in people who understand data engineering principles and have experience testing scalable, cloud-native data platforms.

Nice to have
- Behave / BDD experience would be a bonus, particularly if you've used it to build Python-based testing frameworks.
This could suit a Data Test Engineer, Data QA Engineer, ETL Test Engineer, Python Automation Engineer or SDET looking for their next contract.
