  • Hands-on experience in test UI automation using Playwright and/or Selenium.
  • Strong working knowledge of TypeScript and/or Java
  • Proven experience in API automation testing using Rest Assured and/or Playwright
  • Familiarity with automation script development using Eclipse and/or Visual Studio Code
  • Practical exposure to GitLab and/or GitHub, along with CI/CD pipeline integration
  • Good understanding of software testing processes, test design techniques, and defect lifecycle
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, with participation in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Strong proficiency in Java with the ability to design clean, scalable, and maintainable automation solutions.
  • Extensive experience in designing and architecting UI automation frameworks (Selenium/Playwright) with focus on reusability, scalability, and maintainability (POM, modular frameworks).
  • Hands-on expertise in UI automation using Selenium, Playwright, TestNG, and Cucumber (BDD).
  • Deep understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and modern web application architecture.
  • Own end-to-end automation strategy including framework design, test coverage, and execution across releases.
  • Integrate and optimize automated test suites within CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab CI), enabling fast and reliable feedback loops.
  • Experience with build and quality tools (Maven, SonarQube) and cloud execution platforms (e.g., Sauce Labs).
  • Design robust, maintainable, and high-performing test scripts with strong focus on stability and flakiness reduction.
  • Analyze failures, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions to improve test reliability and execution efficiency.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with developers, product managers, and QA teams to define quality strategy and ensure high test coverage.
  • Drive shift-left testing practices and contribute to improving overall engineering quality.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on automation best practices
  • Exposure to AI/ML-driven testing approaches, including leveraging AI tools for test generation and execution
