Job Summary
Flight Management is a mission-critical airline operations solution that supports the preparation of every flight before departure. Our products enable airlines to optimize aircraft loading, calculate aircraft weight and balance, generate regulatory-compliant load sheets, manage operational changes, and ensure flights depart safely, efficiently, and on time. These solutions operate within a complex ecosystem of interconnected products, services, operational processes, and external integrations where reliability, accuracy, and compliance are critical.
You will work within Agile product teams, collaborating with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Architects, Engineers, domain experts, and airline customers. Your mission will be to ensure product quality through effective validation strategies, robust automation, and continuous quality improvements across the product lifecycle.
The role requires strong quality engineering and test automation expertise, technical understanding, and the ability to validate complex workflows spanning multiple systems, integrations, and operational domains. You will play a key role in implementing and evolving automated testing capabilities, improving regression coverage, increasing delivery efficiency, and promoting quality engineering best practices across the Flight Management portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements, specifications, and workflows to define test approaches and quality coverage.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test solutions to improve quality, regression coverage, and delivery efficiency.

- Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Architects, Engineers, and domain experts to ensure solutions are testable and meet quality expectations.
- Support continuous integration and delivery practices through automated testing and quality validation.
- Investigate defects, perform root cause analysis, and support issue resolution.
- Produce and maintain test artefacts, including test plans, test cases, automation assets, and quality reports.
- Identify opportunities to improve product quality, test effectiveness, automation maturity, and engineering practices.
- Leverage AI-assisted tools to improve testing, automation development, troubleshooting, analysis, and documentation activities.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
