Quality Assurance Engineer
The Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for supporting issue resolution, running engineering processes and improving engineering processes (with oversight from experienced Quality Assurance Engineers and the Quality Lead).
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting Issue Resolution
- Triage and deal with issues from both service desks and urgent customer support requests.
- Resolve issues using the available technical documentation and, in time, built up knowledge of the system.
- Work with subject matter experts for a quick resolution for engineering quality issues and proactively identify the root cause.

- Run and improve Processes
- Support the efficient running of Engineering processes at Windracers.
- Support experienced Quality Assurance Engineers and the Quality Lead to spot inefficiencies in existing processes and implement improvements.
- Write new engineering processes with the help of the Quality Lead.
Skills & Experience
- Strong background in STEM, logical reasoning and general engineering principles, preferably with a specialisation in aeronautical engineering.
- Native IT skills sufficient to master the tools in use and assist others with their use.
- Jira experience desirable or a keen willingness to learn process automation.
- Great attention to detail and a passion for a high-quality product.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good understanding of business needs and the ability to focus on the issues that matter to the customer.
- Right to work within the UK.
- Willingness to undertake a BPSS.
