Salary: £34,662 rising to £40,383 per annum + Excellent Benefits including Government Pension
Location: Hybrid Working/Exeter, England
Closing Date: 09/10/2026, Midday
Hours per week: This role is 37 hours per week. However, we welcome applications from individuals wishing to work on a part-time basis and we are willing to consider flexible working patterns subject to business need.

About the role:
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance, Evaluation & Development Officer to support the quality and continuous improvement of learning and development programmes.
The role involves observing, evaluating and supporting trainers and assessors, leading Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) activities, and promoting consistent, high-quality delivery across PCER, PCSOs, NPPF and NPP programmes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting observations and providing developmental feedback to trainers and assessors.
- Supporting IQA processes, standardisation activities, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Developing and delivering CPD opportunities for trainers and assessors.
- Monitoring and evaluating learning and assessment practices to drive continuous improvement.

- Experience in assessment and Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) and standardisation processes.
- Experience supporting and developing trainers and assessors.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and organisational skills.
