Department: Product & Engineering

Location: Remote UK

Description

This is a new leadership role at NedGraphics, created to give our Quality Assurance (QA) function dedicated ownership at a senior level. You will lead a team of 5 QA engineers and take full responsibility for quality across our product portfolio, working closely with VP Engineering and the wider R&D team.

AI tooling is increasing the pace and output of our engineering teams. This is an exciting moment to be leading QA: the opportunity is to build a modern, high-performing quality function that keeps pace with accelerating software delivery, expands automation coverage, and raises the bar on what good looks like.

This role is fully remote and open to candidates in the EU and UK.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Strategy

  • Design and own the QA strategy across the NedGraphics and Optitex product portfolios, bringing a clear point of view on what good looks like based on prior experience building QA functions elsewhere
  • Lead a strategic transformation of the QA function: moving it from its current state to a modern, automation-first, AI-enabled operation, with a credible roadmap and milestones
  • Build a quality-focused culture within the team and across the wider engineering organisation
  • Establish clear standards, processes, and quality gates for product releases, informed by best practices from previous roles
  • Work closely with engineering leads and Product Managers to integrate QA throughout the development lifecycle
  • Set a clear direction for the team and develop individuals to reach their potential
  • Act as a hands-on people leader: manage performance, run 1:1s, and support career development for a team of 5

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Experience working effectively across multiple time zones with a globally distributed team, including asynchronous collaboration and flexible scheduling
