Our client, a leading global commodities trading organisation, is seeking a senior quality assurance professional to play a critical role in one of its most strategic technology initiatives.

This is a unique opportunity to join a high-profile transformation programme that will deliver a next-generation, fully integrated trading platform across Front Office, Middle Office, and Finance functions. You'll be responsible for driving programme-wide quality assurance across multiple technology ecosystems, ensuring successful delivery of a business-critical platform that will support global energy trading operations. Working directly with senior programme leadership, business stakeholders, and technology teams, you'll have the authority to define QA standards, govern UAT readiness, and influence key go-live decisions across one of the industry's most ambitious technology programmes.

Job Title: QA Lead
Job Type: Contract
Location: London or Geneva
Working Arrangement: Hybrid
Day Rate: Up to £1000/day (outside IR35)

The Role:

  • Own and implement the programme-wide QA strategy across multiple delivery streams and platforms.
  • Define and oversee end-to-end testing for business-critical trading, logistics, finance, and reporting processes.
  • Ensure complete traceability between UAT acceptance criteria and validated test coverage.
  • Lead cross-system integration testing, identifying risks and gaps across interconnected platforms and services.
  • Coordinate validation activities for a large portfolio of business reports, ensuring data accuracy and stakeholder sign-off prior to UAT.
  • Define UAT entry and exit criteria and provide governance over readiness decisions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to programme leadership, communicating quality status, risks, and recommendations to senior stakeholders and steering committees.
  • Drive collaboration across agile and release-based delivery teams, ensuring consistent QA standards across the programme.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
