Quality Assurance Lead / Compliance Manager

£40,000 - £45,000 + Benefits

A brand-new role with the opportunity to shape quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across a growing organisation.

We're looking for an experienced Registered Manager or Quality & Compliance professional to lead audits, governance, and quality assurance activity across multiple services. Working independently from operational teams, you'll provide assurance to senior leadership, identify risks, drive improvements, and help ensure the highest standards of service delivery, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver quality audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.
  • Monitor safeguarding, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Analyse audit findings, KPIs, incidents, complaints, and stakeholder feedback.
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Produce reports, dashboards, and recommendations for senior leaders.
  • Manage quality improvement plans and track progress.
  • Lead governance activities and quality assurance programmes across services.

About You

  • Registered Manager experience essential.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience within supported housing, social care, health and social care regulation, or a similar quality-focused environment.
  • Experienced in audits, inspections, compliance, or governance reviews.
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

Desirable

  • Supported housing, homelessness, mental health, or learning disability sector experience.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and quality standards.
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies, Root Cause Analysis, or ISO standards.
