About the Role

Our client, a leading UK wealth manager serving affluent and high-net-worth customers, is seeking an experienced QA Manager to lead quality assurance across its technology estate.

The role will establish a consistent approach to testing across customer-facing digital products, internal platforms, and third-party systems. Working closely with technology, product, and business teams, the QA Manager will ensure that changes are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the standards expected within a regulated wealth-management environment.

This is a hands-on role, combining ownership of the QA approach with direct involvement in business-critical projects and releases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and develop the organisation's QA and testing strategy, standards, and processes
  • Lead functional, integration, regression, user acceptance, and non-functional testing
  • Develop test plans, acceptance criteria, and quality gates for technology releases
  • Build and improve test-automation capability
  • Embed quality assurance throughout the software-development lifecycle
  • Work with technology and business teams to identify risks, defects, and dependencies early
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing and manage defects through to resolution
  • Provide clear reporting on release readiness, testing outcomes, and quality risks
  • Ensure effective testing of integrations and data flows between internal and third-party systems
  • Support the safe adoption of Microsoft Copilot, including testing AI-enabled workflows, outputs, and controls
  • Oversee the quality of delivery from external technology providers
  • Support incident reviews and drive continuous improvement across testing and release processes

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
