Role Description
The Quality Assurance Manager is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing quality processes, ensuring compliance with internal standards and external regulations, and driving continuous improvement across projects and departments. Day-to-day, this role designs, implements, and maintains QA frameworks, including test plans, process controls, and quality metrics. The Quality Assurance Manager reviews documentation, conducts audits, analyzes defects and trends, and partners with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and prevent recurrence.

This role collaborates closely with operations, product, and technical teams to validate that deliverables meet defined quality criteria, and provides clear reporting to leadership. The position also involves mentoring team members on best practices, facilitating training, and contributing to strategic initiatives that strengthen overall quality culture.

Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in quality assurance management, including developing and maintaining QA processes, standards, and metrics.
- Proficiency with quality tools and methodologies (e.g., root cause analysis, CAPA, risk assessment, process mapping, audit techniques).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify patterns, and recommend actionable improvements.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with distributed, cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
- Experience leading or supervising QA teams, including coaching, performance feedback, and workload prioritization.
- Familiarity with relevant industry regulations or standards (such as ISO-based quality systems, regulatory compliance frameworks, or similar), depending on the product domain.
- Ability to document processes clearly, create guidelines and checklists, and maintain organized records for audits and reviews.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (such as Quality Management, Engineering, Business, or another relevant discipline) or equivalent practical experience.
- Comfort with remote work technologies and tools, and the ability to manage time and responsibilities independently.
- Prior experience in a managerial or senior QA role is highly beneficial; relevant industry experience is an advantage.
