Perennial Pharma Ltd - Hybrid Role
Permanent, full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
About us
Perennial Pharma is a UK based generic medicines company, formed in 2019 and built on a simple idea, to identify, develop, manufacture and supply high quality, affordable medicines for the UK market. Perennial is a rapidly growing company and as part of its continued expansion is looking to build upon its committed and dynamic team.
Our slogan is "defining, not following", and our values of tenacity, courage, integrity, commitment and fun shape how we work every day. Quality sits at the front of our thinking, and this role is central to that.
The role
As our Quality Assurance Manager, you'll lead quality across the business, reporting directly to our Managing Director. You'll own and manage our Pharmaceutical Quality System day to day, making sure the medicines we supply are made, imported, stored and distributed in line with GMP, GDP and our Marketing Authorisations. You'll work closely with our MD, RP, our contracted QP, senior management and the broader team to enhance our strong quality culture.
What you'll be doing
- Owning and continually improving our QMS in line with UK GMP and GDP
- Managing deviations, CAPA and change control, and leading investigations and root cause analysis
- Maintaining quality oversight of our contract manufacturers, laboratories, 3PL and transport providers, including qualification, audits and Quality Technical Agreements
- Supporting our contracted QP and coordinating Product Quality Reviews
- Keeping us inspection ready at all times, hosting MHRA inspections and leading responses
- Managing complaints, quality defects and recalls, and maintaining compliance with our licence requirements
- Overseeing SOPs, quality documentation, data integrity and our quality and GDP training programme

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
