Quality Assurance Manager
We're looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to lead our Quality team and drive excellence in food safety, product quality and compliance across our manufacturing site in Llantrisant.
Reporting to the Technical Manager, you'll play a key role in maintaining and improving our Quality Management System, supporting audits, developing team capability and ensuring we consistently meet customer, regulatory and business expectations.
What you'll be doing
- Leading, developing and motivating the Quality team.
- Managing the day-to-day Quality function across the site.
- Maintaining and continuously improving the Quality Management System.
- Working closely with Production to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Leading investigations into non-conformances and implementing corrective and preventative actions.
- Driving GMP standards and ensuring routine quality inspections are completed effectively.
- Managing supplier quality performance and raw material intake processes.
- Analysing quality KPIs and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Supporting customer visits, third-party audits and new product launches.
- Championing food safety, quality and compliance throughout the business.

What we're looking for
- Previous experience in a Quality Assurance or Quality Management position within food manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of food safety legislation, quality systems and industry standards.
- Experience leading and developing teams.
- Intermediate Food Hygiene qualification or equivalent knowledge.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
- The ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
