Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Assurance Officer to join Bolton Council's Children's Services on a locum basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in improving practice standards and driving positive outcomes for children and families across the service. You'll work closely with operational teams and managers to ensure high-quality social work practice and continuous service improvement.
What will your responsibilities be?
- Undertake audits of children's social care casework.
- Identify strengths, areas for development and themes across the service.
- Support quality assurance and performance improvement activity.
- Contribute to practice development and learning initiatives.
- Produce detailed audit reports and recommendations.
- Work closely with managers and practitioners to promote best practice and compliance with statutory requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have;
- Social Work England Registration.
- Qualified Social Worker status.
- Significant experience within Children's Social Care.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding legislation and statutory guidance.
- Experience of auditing, quality assurance or practice improvement work is desirable.
- Excellent analytical and report-writing skills.
