Walker Cole International is supporting a growing pharmaceutical organisation in the search for a Quality Assurance Officer to join their Quality team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly expanding business that has experienced significant growth in recent years, offering exposure to a diverse portfolio of pharmaceutical products and medical devices supplied across European markets.

Role Overview
Operating within a virtual pharmaceutical model, the company works closely with Contract Manufacturing Organisations (CMOs), providing broad exposure to external manufacturing and quality assurance activities. This role offers a hybrid working pattern and the opportunity to develop within a collaborative and supportive Quality team.

Responsibilities
- Reviewing batch manufacturing and packaging records to ensure compliance with GMP requirements prior to product release.
- Performing batch release activities, ensuring products meet the required quality standards before distribution.
- Working closely with external manufacturing partners and internal stakeholders to support day-to-day quality assurance activities.
- Maintaining accurate quality documentation while supporting compliance with GMP and the Quality Management System.
Requirements
The Successful Candidate Will Have:

- Previous Quality Assurance experience within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical, biotechnology or medical device environment.
- Experience reviewing batch records and/or supporting batch release activities.
- A strong understanding of GMP principles and pharmaceutical quality systems.
- Excellent attention to detail, communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both internal teams and external manufacturing partners.
