Quality Assurance & Project Support Officer

Fixed Term Contract - 6 Months
📍 Location: Hybrid Working (Home-based with occasional travel to Brainkind locations)
⏰ Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
💰 Salary: £30,000 pro rata

At Brainkind, we are committed to improving the lives of people living with brain injuries and neurological conditions. We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Quality Assurance & Project Support Officer to support the implementation of our new Digital Care Information and Quality (DCIQ) programme.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a national project that will transform how quality, governance, incident management and reporting are managed across the organisation.

Working closely with our Quality Assurance, Governance and Project Teams, you will provide essential administrative and project coordination support, helping to ensure the successful rollout of the DCIQ programme while maintaining key business-as-usual activities.

What You'll Be Doing

You will:

  • Support the coordination and delivery of the DCIQ implementation programme.
  • Maintain project plans, action logs, risk registers and implementation trackers.
  • Coordinate project meetings, workshops and training sessions.
  • Support the administration of the Datix system, including user access requests and routine enquiries.
  • Produce and maintain governance, quality and project reporting.
  • Assist with data collection, validation and analysis.
  • Track actions, investigations and compliance requirements, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, agendas and meeting documentation.
  • Liaise with stakeholders across operational, clinical and corporate teams.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and process development.

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Experience in an administrative, project support, governance or quality-focused role.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills.
  • Experience maintaining trackers, reports and databases.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally.

Desirable

  • Experience working in healthcare, social care or another regulated environment.
  • Experience using Datix or similar governance/risk management systems.
  • Experience supporting project implementations or organisational change programmes.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance, governance or compliance activities.
  • Experience producing management information and performance reports.
