About the Opportunity
We are looking to connect with experienced Technical Architects and Testing & Quality Assurance Specialists for our talent pool as we anticipate future project demand across the UK Financial Services, insurance, fintech, and broader technology sectors.
This is not an active role. We are proactively building a network of independent consultants and contractors with specialist architecture, testing, and quality-assurance experience so we can respond quickly as new client projects come to market.
We are particularly interested in professionals who can support complex technology-transformation, platform-modernisation, systems-integration, cloud-migration, and digital-delivery programmes.
What You May Support
- Define technical architectures for complex transformation and modernisation programmes.
- Translate business and functional requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Design integrations across applications, platforms, APIs, cloud services, and third-party systems.
- Assess existing technology estates and define target-state architectures and migration roadmaps.
- Support architecture governance, technical assurance, and solution-design reviews.
- Develop testing strategies, plans, frameworks, and quality-assurance standards.
- Lead functional, integration, system, regression, performance, and automation testing.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing, defect management, and release-readiness activities.
- Support data migration, reconciliation, cutover, and post-implementation stabilisation.
- Work with product, engineering, operations, risk, compliance, and third-party delivery teams.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
