Contract Lead Quality Assurance Specialist - Hybrid Working Leicester
Contract
- Initially 6 months, most probably 12 months - INSIDE IR35

About the Role
As Quality Assurance Specialist, you’ll contribute to the transformation programme to a major application / ERP in the UK for our client, a global company with complex business.
As an excellent co-ordinator, your role will be to drive forward the QA / testing/ UAT to ensure all testing is completed as required including:
- Ensure testing is executed in line with the plan
- Monitoring Testing progress with QA tool Xray / JIRA / ALM and identify issues then progress by liaising with appropriate stakeholders to resolve
- Report / provide QA & testing updates to senior stakeholders
- Triage QA / testing issues and drive through resolution in a timely manner liaising with various digital teams
- Co-ordinate with various technical teams to ensure testing is done on time
- Co-ordinate robust defect management & retesting

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have experience of :
- Co-ordinating testing / UAT, tracking progress on Jira / Xray on large scale complex business transformation, preferably ERP / manufacturing / production/ engineering environment.
- Reviewing testing progress against the test plan using Jira / Xray, identifying and ensure testing delivered as expected on time
- Ensuring defect management processes are completed and retesting successfully achieved
- JIRA (ALM good but not essential)
- Presenting UAT and defect results to stakeholders both Technology & the business
- Xray is beneficial but not essential

Availability
Available immediately with flexibility to be at the Leicestershire site 5 days a week when required. Some weeks this will be less depending on the phase of testing.

Sometimes 5 days in the office when testing required, other times maybe one day.
Contract
INSIDE IR35 – 6 months initially, most likely to be 12 months
