Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist
Employment Type: FTC; Contract for 12-14 months
Work Arrangement: Hybrid | Once a week in-office | London
Are you a Quality professional with experience in pharmaceutical quality systems and GDP compliance, looking to take on a broad and impactful role?
We're seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to support and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while driving quality, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS)
- Ensure compliance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) requirements
- Manage quality processes including deviations, CAPAs, change controls, investigations, and risk assessments
- Review and approve quality-related documentation, SOPs, and controlled documents
- Maintain and administer electronic quality, training, documentation, reporting, and product database systems
- Support internal audits, inspections, and regulatory compliance activities
- Assist with product recall activities and provide GDP support when required
- Produce quality and training metrics and identify opportunities for process improvement
- Collaborate cross-functionally to promote a strong culture of quality and compliance

Qualifications:
- Degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related healthcare discipline
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Quality Assurance within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industry
- Good understanding of Quality Management Systems, GDP, and relevant pharmaceutical regulations
- Experience managing deviations, CAPAs, change controls, and documentation systems
- Strong process improvement and continuous improvement mindset
- Experience writing SOPs, process documentation, and process mapping
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Adaptable, proactive, and able to effectively manage multiple priorities
