Job Description
The Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for monitoring the effectiveness of internal processes and ensuring that agreed quality standards are consistently maintained.
Rather than focusing exclusively on final inspections, the role will involve analysing how processes operate in practice, identifying recurring problems and working with colleagues to reduce errors and improve efficiency.
The position will also contribute to the development of quality documentation, internal procedures and performance monitoring activities.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Monitoring operational processes against established quality standards and procedures.
- Carrying out quality checks and documenting findings.
- Investigating recurring errors, deviations and process inconsistencies.
- Working with relevant teams to identify the underlying causes of quality issues.
- Supporting the implementation and follow-up of corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintaining quality records, procedures and supporting documentation.
- Preparing periodic reports on quality indicators and identified issues.
- Contributing to internal audits and process reviews.
- Helping departments develop more effective and consistent working procedures.
- Participating in continuous improvement projects and initiatives.

The role would suit someone who combines a methodical approach with practical problem-solving skills and enjoys understanding how business processes can be improved. The successful candidate will need to be comfortable working across different teams and communicating quality-related findings in a constructive and professional manner.

- Previous experience in quality assurance, quality control, process improvement or a comparable operational role
- Ability to analyse procedures and identify weaknesses or recurring issues
- Strong attention to detail and a systematic approach to documentation
- Confidence in investigating problems and proposing practical corrective actions
- Good understanding of process-based working and continuous improvement principles
- Ability to prepare clear reports and maintain accurate records
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets and standard business software
- Experience with quality management systems or audit procedures is desirable
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 principles is considered an advantage
- Ability to work effectively with both operational staff and management
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
