Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge

Are you passionate about quality, compliance and driving continuous improvement? We're looking for a Quality Assurance Team Leader to join our Healthcare Support Services team at Addenbrooke's Hospital, one of the UK's leading NHS teaching hospitals.

Reporting to the Head of Compliance, you'll play a key role in ensuring our Domestic, Catering and Soft FM services consistently deliver exceptional standards for patients, visitors and clinical teams. You'll lead audit activities, support compliance initiatives, monitor service performance and work closely with operational teams to identify opportunities for improvement.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading and coordinating quality audits across Domestic, Catering and Soft FM services.
  • Monitoring compliance with contractual, regulatory and company standards.
  • Supporting the implementation of quality assurance frameworks and audit programmes.
  • Tracking audit actions and ensuring corrective actions are completed effectively.
  • Producing quality reports and analysing performance data to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Supporting external inspections, audits and accreditation visits.
  • Working collaboratively with operational managers and frontline teams to drive continuous improvement.
  • Promoting high standards of Health & Safety, Food Safety, COSHH and Infection Prevention & Control.
  • Providing guidance, coaching and support to colleagues on quality and compliance matters.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in a Quality Assurance, Compliance, Audit or Facilities Management role.
  • Previous experience conducting audits and inspections.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience producing reports and interpreting performance data.
  • Ability to influence teams and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Desirable

  • Experience within an NHS or healthcare environment.
  • Knowledge of CQC standards and healthcare compliance requirements.
  • Internal Auditor qualification or audit experience.
  • IOSH qualification.
  • Experience working within a large outsourced services contract.
