Role Description
The Quality Assurance Technical Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Oldbury. This role is responsible for overseeing quality assurance processes for food products, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and client specifications. Day-to-day tasks include:

The Quality Assurance Technical Manager will collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders, troubleshoot quality issues, recommend corrective actions, and support continuous improvement initiatives. The role may also involve supporting product sourcing decisions by assessing supplier quality performance and technical capabilities.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory standards within the food industry.
- Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems (e.g., HACCP, ISO, BRC).
- Ability to conduct technical audits, inspections, and risk assessments, and to prepare clear, accurate reports.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and advise clients.
- Proficiency in using standard office and documentation tools to manage data, records, and technical documentation.
- Experience in sourcing or supplier quality management in the food sector is an advantage.
- Relevant degree or professional qualification in food science, food technology, quality management, or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects or client engagements.
