Behind every delicious Gü dessert is a team dedicated to getting things right — from food safety and quality to process and product standards. We’re now looking for a passionate and detail-focused Quality Assurance / Food Safety Technician to join our team and help us maintain the high standards our products are known for.
Working closely with our Production and Engineering teams, you’ll have a strong presence on the factory floor, monitoring compliance, identifying opportunities for improvement and supporting teams to resolve quality and food safety issues effectively.
🔍 What you’ll be doing
- Carrying out raw material and packaging intake checks, ensuring everything meets specification.
- Performing routine quality, temperature, product and taste panel checks throughout production.
- Conducting and supporting microbiological, physical, chemical and allergen testing.
- Managing laboratory samples, results and Certificates of Analysis.
- Identifying, recording and escalating non-conformances and food safety or quality concerns.
- Reviewing held stock and contributing to Problem Stock Meetings.
- Championing GMP and continuous improvement across the factory.
- Supporting and educating colleagues to strengthen our Food Safety & Quality Culture.
- Maintaining accurate logs, records, documentation and quality systems.
- Providing general support and cover across the QA team when required.
