Role Description:

We are seeking a motivated Quality Assurance Technician to join our Quality Assurance team.

The purpose of the QA Technician is to work in accordance with the Company’s Quality Management System to ensure compliance with the National and International Standards required by the Company’s Quality policy for the manufacture of intraocular lenses and associated products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect and test, where appropriate, manufactured product, packaging, labelling, incoming materials and components to detailed specifications
  • Review and verify manufacturing documentation to ensure that specified requirements are met
  • Perform in-process QA activities as required
  • Goods receiving inspection of materials and components
  • Testing of batch control samples
  • Review and verification of manufactured product batch documentation
  • Quality checks of Final Packed product samples and associated documentation
  • Quality checks of in-process packaging/sealing operations
  • Product release testing
  • Completion of batch records with quality check data
  • Administration of samples for microbiological and chemical testing
  • Initiation of non-conformance process for identified issues

  • Experience and/or qualification in a quality, scientific, engineering, manufacturing or computing background
