An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Quality Assurance Technician to support quality documentation, certification, and traceability throughout the manufacturing lifecycle within a busy engineering environment.

Working closely with Quality, Production, and Procurement teams, you will ensure accurate, compliant, and auditable records are maintained to support customer acceptance and regulatory requirements.

This role would suit an organized and detail-focused individual with experience in quality administration, document control, goods inward, or supply chain within manufacturing or engineering, particularly those from regulated industries such as defense, aerospace, automotive, or medical.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, control, and maintain quality documentation, ensuring all physical and electronic records are accurate, traceable, and fully up to date throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Compile and maintain manufacturing build packs, release documentation, material certification, and traceability records to support customer acceptance, factory acceptance testing (FAT), and product release.
  • Administer document change control processes, including technical queries, engineering changes, revision control, document numbering, and distribution.
  • Liaise with internal departments and customer Quality Assurance Representatives to ensure documentation is completed, reviewed, and issued in line with project timescales and quality requirements.
  • Support continuous quality assurance activities by maintaining production documentation, assisting with audits, and, where required, providing occasional support during inspection, assembly, or acceptance activities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
